Dentistry

Dental care is essential to your horse’s health. Prevention is always better than cure and routine examination of your horse’s teeth can prevent more serious problems from developing at a later stage. Proper care provides your horse optimal performance today and into the future. We recommend that your horse's teeth and mouth are examined every 6 to 12 month.

Horses may express dental problems in the following ways:

  • Headshaking when ridden
  • Unwilling to take a contact on the bit
  • Eating slowly
  • Chewing on one side of mouth
